Getting To Know Elva Orton

February 4, 2019

For Elva Orton, the thrill of beginning a new adventure never gets old. During her married life, she and her late husband lived in 16 different places all over the world, including China where they both taught at a university.

Originally from Utah, Elva is the mother of four sons and three daughters—all of which are as excited as she is for this new chapter in her life. Now, after a long eight-month wait, Elva is beyond excited to meet new friends, pursue new interests and, most of all, have her very own apartment she can call home.

Were you named after anyone? “I was named after my grandmother.”

Favorite pastime activity: “Anything to do with sewing.”

How would you spend your ideal day out? “Going to an art museum.”

If you could have a super power, what would it be? “To do everything to make my grandchildren happy.”

Favorite food: “Anything I don’t have to cook. The restaurants here at Summit Vista are fantastic.”

Weirdest thing about you: “I always have to be on time.”

Dream Vacation: “Italy. I’ve been there twice, but I’d go again.”
