Topping Off Ceremony Marks Milestone at Summit Vista

June 22, 2018

An exciting event on May 22 marked the completion of structural construction work at Summit Vista. Two new buildings moved into the finishing stages—the Aspen Meadows Clubhouse and Red Pine Ridge residential building.

We called it the Topping Off Ceremony because the roofing is 100% complete for both buildings, a big milestone toward the grand opening of the Summit Vista community. 91 Red Pine Ridge residents took part in the celebration. They were joined by the Summit Vista team and some of the key partners in the development process: the Gardner Company, Okland Construction, and Zwick Construction.

Summit Vista new buildings announcement

“We want to say thanks to all who have made this possible! A project like this takes the efforts of many, many people. But there is one group who we wouldn’t be here without—and that is you, our founders. So we want to thank you for all you’ve done to make Summit Vista possible.”

After a short standing ceremony, those attending enjoyed a luau-style meal, which featured a pig roast, taco bar, and delicious cupcakes. Many of the 150 on-site construction workers took part in the celebration and delicious food as a “thank you” for their hard work on the initial phase of these amazing buildings.

The event also included the announcement of another exciting milestone: the groundbreaking for our second residential building, Maple Point!
