Decisions That Shape Us – Mark’s Minute

September 19, 2020

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s the fact that this worldwide pandemic has affected all of us in ways we might never have thought possible. But as I’ve said before— and it’s worth repeating—I’m constantly amazed by the continual display of positivity and resilience shown by our residents and staff to make the best of these trying circumstances.

Every day, we’re thinking about what we can do as a leadership team and staff to protect the safety and health of our residents. We’re also eagerly looking forward to opportunities to reopen or reintroduce a little more social interactivity into our lives when and where safely possible.

As I’ve mentioned in my weekly Summit Vista update videos, many of the community and COVID-related decisions we make are based largely on what is happening at the local and national levels, as well as in conjunction with the information we receive from the state health department. We want to make sure we’re taking the right precautions at every phase and at every turn, no matter how big or small.

Ultimately, knowing each of us has different needs and comfort levels is what guides our actions. We have your best interests in mind and are confident that, as we continue showing patience, kindness, and optimism in the days and weeks ahead, we’ll all come out of this better and stronger as a result.

Thanks to everyone for your contributions to our growing community. You truly make Summit Vista great. And as always, my door is open if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
