Resident Spotlight: Peter & Pam Behn

July 26, 2018

For most their lives, Peter and Pam Behn lived and raised their four children in Vermont. But once their kids had grown and flown the nest, there wasn’t much keeping them around. So, they moved west to Utah to help start the real estate program at the Canyons Resort. And that’s all it took for them to fall in love with the area—so much so they decided to build a house in the foothills of Park City.

Twelve years later, and after countless home projects and endless maintenance, they decided it was time to think about their next big adventure: stress-free retirement. That’s when Peter and Pam learned about Summit Vista and all it has to offer.

From the first introduction, both of them concluded Summit Vista was the perfect retirement option for them. As a result, they were among the first to sign up. “Every step along the way, we’ve become more and more convinced we made the right choice,” shared Peter.

Now, as move-in day draws near, they have a ton to look forward to—starting with their spacious, 1,376 sq. ft., two-bedroom apartment home. “We’re incredibly eager to be part of a community that has such a strong focus on healthy living, staying active, and being involved,” continued Peter. “With so many fun spaces and amenities in the works, we can hardly wait for opportunities to gather with friends at the restaurants or meet and get to know other residents at the clubhouse.”

Peter and Pam will be the first to admit life has been an exciting journey. But both of them couldn’t be more excited to start this next phase in theirs!
